This bird should be instantly recognizable as a shorebird.  From the picture we can tell that it is a small to medium sized sandpiper.  The combination of yellow legs, short slightly decurved black bill, and sharply cut off streaking on the chest identifies this bird as a Pectoral Sandpiper.
