Bird Quiz #40

How to Identify:
This week’s quiz bird was quickly recognizable as a species of sparrow.  With the amount of streaking on the back and on sides of this bird many sparrows can be eliminated quickly.  After considering the amount of streaking the only species that can be considered include Savannah, Vesper, Fox, and Song Sparrow.  Once it is narrowed down to these four species, the amount of rufous rules out all but Fox.  So our quiz bird is a Fox Sparrow.
