Where to Bird:

Yellowwood Lake Road:  Drive this road with your windows open.  Watch and listen for birds and stop on the side of the road when there is some activity.  During the spring and summer, there are many species of warblers.  In the summer look and listen for Hooded, Kentucky, Worm-eating, and Louisiana Waterthrush.  During the month of May, you can see around 25 species of warblers along the road.

Yellowwood Lake:  Walk the trail around the lake during the spring and fall for a chance to see many migrant passerines.  From the parking lot on Yellowwood Lake Road on the north side of the lake, walk north on the trail to have a chance to see many sparrows and warblers in the spring and fall.
