This dam is one of the best spots in Indiana to see Fish Crows.

Specialty Species:

Fish Crow:  This species frequently flies back and forth from Kentucky over the dam.

Where to Bird:

Dam Parking Lot:  Park here and look and listen for Fish Crows.  They have now fenced in the parking lot and no longer allow any access to the rest of the property.  This has made it somewhat more difficult to find Fish Crows on this property.

Directions:

From the North:  From the intersection of I-64 and SR-69 near Griffin, Indiana, take SR-69 South.  After about 20 miles, turn right (west) to stay on SR-69 in Mount Vernon.  Go 2.7 miles and turn left (south) to stay on SR-69.  After 8 miles, SR-63 curves to the right (west) and becomes Grady Road.  Once on Grady Road, go 1.35 miles and turn left (south) onto Raben Road.  This road dead ends into the John T. Myers Lock and Dam parking lot.
